Job Description
- 1. The Commodity Risk Management Consultant focused on the Oil and Gas and Energy Trading industry facilitates the implementation and support of the SAP Commodity Management and Risk Management solutions
- 2. The consultant shall interact with business owners and partners to analyze and define business requirements, processes.
- 3. The consultant will implement, customize and test solutions and develop customer specific enhancements to meet business requirements as needed
- 4. Deep knowledge and understanding of SAP technical & functional capabilities as well as business processes and industry best practices of Oil & Gas and Trading.
- 5. Excellent facilitation and communication skills are essential as is engaging with Business executives, process owners and implementation partners
- 6. Deep product expertise/business experience in S4/HANA with specific focus on SAP Commodity Management/Risk Management/Analytics areas covering:
- a. Knowledge on Solution Set up in S/4 HANA Commodity Risk/Commodity Management
- b. Cross Module integration skills between Commodity Risk (CTRM), Commodity Purchase and Sales processes (CMM SD & MM)
- c. Process & Solution knowledge for both Financial Trading (SAP TRM) and Physical trading (SAP MM & SD) including commodity hedging and effectiveness
- d. Integration knowledge with different market data provides for Commodity price indexes especially DCS based.
- e. Process knowledge on End of Day evaluations – mark to market, P&L, Attribution, Position reporting, valuations
- f. Process knowledge for Value at Risk reporting and its integration to 3rd party systems
- g. Process knowledge for Risk Exposure modeling and its integration with additional reporting attributes (free characteristics)
- h. Experience to handle CDS based Analytics design and explain technical team on the requirements.
